We sell a large number of well-known branded products, including Snickers Workwear, Gerber, Leatherman, Lowa, Led-Lenser, Setwear and Puma.
Work clothing and protective equipment such as gloves are extremely important to events technicians. The days when clothing was simply purchased from army shops are over. Much more is now expected of work wear. Work clothing needs to be functional and robust whilst still remaining affordable. Events technicians, who are required to carry out their work at different times of the day in varying environments, have to have a reliable flow of air between their body and the ambient environment. We are able to supply precisely the type of work clothing that fulfils such requirements without difficulty. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions. The Technikwear team hopes that you enjoy visiting our site!

Lexicon

The aim of this glossary is to explain and familiarise you with some of the important terms used in the field of event technology and on this website.
Event technology is the technical equipping, planning and realisation of events such as concerts, trade fairs, musicals and theatre performances.
The field of event technology is divided into a number of different areas in which specialist individual equipment is used. These comprise sound engineering, lighting technology, video technology, stage building, pyrotechnics and laser shows.
Event technology is subject to highly rapid technological change. Many effects and pieces of equipment are replaced by new innovations after a brief period of time. Currently, for example, enormous change is happening in the area of LED lighting. This is bringing about increasing close ties between the specialisms of lighting technology and video technology.
Events are realised by event technology specialists. This is a recognised training occupation in Germany. Training is normally of three years’ duration and is organised by a Chamber of Industry and Commerce.
Each federal state in Germany issues an Ordinance on Places of Public Assembly, which requires the presence of an events technician with a master craftsman qualification or a qualified event technology engineer for the construction or dismantling of an event extending over an area of more than 2,000 m2.
